This role involves carrying out daily inspections of static plant, reporting defects, maintaining site equipment, and assisting with routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site. Responsibilities also include site housekeeping, assembling and dismantling equipment, operating plant machinery once trained, washing out weighbridges, and monitoring conveyor belt tracking.

This role is responsible for safely operating, monitoring and maintaining fixed plant machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality aggregates. The role includes carrying out routine inspections and maintenance, monitoring production and material quality, identifying and reporting equipment faults, maintaining operational records, and working in line with all health, safety and environmental procedures.

This role is responsible for carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across quarry and processing plant equipment to maximise reliability, minimise downtime and ensure safe operations. The successful candidate must hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Plant Maintenance, have proven experience in a quarry, sand plant, heavy industry or manufacturing environment, possess strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors, be skilled in fault finding, welding and fabrication, and be able to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining accurate maintenance records and complying with all health and safety procedures.

This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing fixed and mobile plant equipment to maximise plant reliability, minimise downtime and support safe, efficient quarry operations. The role includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs, maintaining conveyors, crushers, screens, washing plants, pumps, hydraulics and drive systems, completing maintenance records, supporting fabrication and installation work, and working in full compliance with the Quarries Regulations 1999, PUWER, LOLER and all company health, safety and environmental procedures.

This Role is responsible for the safe operation and basic maintenance of quarry mobile plant to support efficient site operations and material movement. The successful candidate must hold a valid NPORS, CPCS or MPQC mobile plant licence, have experience operating large quarry machinery within a quarry environment, possess a full driving licence, carry out routine inspections and defect reporting, follow all health, safety and environmental procedures, and demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
